Review for Non-Fiction (big ideas, meanings, theme, pro's and cons)

Horrible Histories Handbooks: Villians, is a spontaneous, brilliant visual and carefully written book, with a easy and interesting facts, some slick humor, detailed pictures and a easy and practical layout. to sum it up, it is small and portable, brilliantly visual and literate, easy, simple and basic, but overall, overflowing with good, viable and fun knowledge on the aspects of how to be a villian! (Not to mention some handy tips for today's school life.) The reason why I really loved this handbook is because it gives you actual, useful and truthful knowledge while keeping it funny, witty, simple and expressing it in a way which actually gets it into your head, and stays there. For me, this is the best non-fiction book i've ever read, but to others, it may not possess the qualities I have found through reading this. For one, it doesn't really posses any plot, and contains ALOT of settings, characters and events, in other words, its not written like most large chapter books, ( Harry Potter, Percy Jackson etc.)which may annoy some readers, but the main reason why someone wouldn't enjoy or be exhilirated when reading the Villians Handbook is due to the large amount of photos of blood or mild gore, or perhaps the descriptions of evil deeds carried out by these various villians. However, despite these slight imperfections, I believe this is one of the all time best ways to teach history to kids and general outstanding non-fiction book.
in two words, its criminally good. I suggest it to every kid from 9-15 who was to find out info personally or for a class, or just have fun. I also believe that this book has all of its themes, meanings and big ideas rolled into one, to teach people of all ages true but gross history in a fun way, And other useful villian tips, not to mention, why you really don't want to be one.

Summary (the back of the book )

the horrible knowledge of all the worlds nastiest villians and criminals in your hands. The terrible tortures of kings to the appauling acts of the gangs and maniacs. Get to grip with the biggest baddies and their horrible ways and ideas. And discover how they tortured, tricked and terrified their way to the top of the world. Find out what a true villian needs, how to think new and big, and other greuling and dirty tricks and ways to become the ulitmate villian of the century. Plus, find out the weird habits of the worlds villians, like who whose axe crazed murder was turned into a ballet, song, film and musical. Who was killed by a tooth and which evil emperor served guts in gold dishes and bowls?

its the worst of the worst and all the gore and more.

History has never been so Horrible!
